I am Jed, the creator of Lessons in Humanities, and here, I’ll share more about me. I have a passion for teaching and helping others expand their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Through Lessons in Humanities, I aim to make complex subjects accessible and engaging for people of all ages and backgrounds.

About My Educational Background

I am a highly experienced educator with over fifteen years in the field, including six years as an academic manager. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History from Quinnipiac University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Concordia University and an American teaching license in Social Sciences. I have extensive teaching experience in a variety of subjects including American History, World History, Geography, Literature, and Writing. I lived in China for many years and am fluent in Chinese.

In addition to my work with Lessons in Humanities, I am also a talented photographer. I have traveled the world, capturing stunning images that showcase the beauty and diversity of our planet. My photos have been published in numerous magazines and books and have been displayed in galleries and exhibitions.

And just for fun...

I am also a former ice hockey player. I played at Quinnipiac University and continue to enjoy the sport today. Whether I am teaching, taking photos, or playing hockey, I am always striving to pursue my passions and live life to the fullest.
